We're the cousins.
And this is where we bake.

We grew up in Reggio Emilia eating our grandmother’s tortellini on Sundays. We opened The Italian Cousins in 2020 because we couldn’t find the bread we grew up with — the kind that takes two days to make and keeps for a week.

Nothing theatrical. No “Mamma Mia!” decor. Just the bakery we’d want on our own street.

Organic Enkir spelt and Buratto wheat from Mulino Marino. San Marzano DOP tomatoes. Olive oil pressed this season.

Parmigiano Reggiano 24 months from our hometown. Mozzarella di Bufala from Campania. Stracciatella from Frägsta Mejeri in Hälsingland.

Sostenibilità — slowly, please.

48-hour fermentation. Returnable glass. Seasonal menu only — we close the focaccia con zucca when the pumpkins are gone.
